School Project - Master Thesis
Disliked in their prime and only recently beginning to be appreciated, brutalists buildings around the Parisan area are at risk of being lost due to the recent construction craze for the Olympic Games in 2024. In many cases they are in imminent danger of destruction, or insensitive reconstructions that would forever alter buildings appearance beyond recognition. Mutation is a mayday, an attempt to galvanize public awareness to the architectural heritage that is not registering on the radar of traditional architectural preservationists. The first collection is covering 6 key buildings, that uses new photography and archive imagery to rally for preservation and recognition. It also include a database and an app.
